After high school I went to UW Platteville. After graduation, I came to Madison looking for a job. I couldn
't seem to find a job in social work, so I worked in several offices. I met my husband in Madison, and we got married in 1975. We then moved to the
Cleveland, Ohio area, and I worked in a large department store for about 5 years. We moved back to Madison, where I worked at WKOW-TV for 20 years. After getting laid off in 2001, I got a job with M & I Bank. The people at the bank are great.
